Project Targets: Improvement of the tail light design to avoid possible design infringements
My Role: Design management from the first sketch to prototyping & final execution of the tail light | Cross-functional collaboration among the departments & international suppliers (Design, EE, Homologation, Patent Attorney, Production) | Controlling the possible design infringements with the Patent Attorney
Achievements: Unique design optimization of the tail lights without creating extra costs by using the same lighting elements and components
Tools: Sketching | Photoshop | Rhino 3D Modeling | Prototyping
Timing: 3 Months
Limitations in the homologation and light bulb distribution among warning light, indicator, brake lights and reverse lights.
